In Room 1 we have been learning about punctuation. We had to write a story about this picture of a mammoth in ice. It had to include a full stop, an exclamation mark and a question mark. Here is my writing.

 

Iced Mammoth 

Hi my name is Chido and I am going to tell you this crazy story. In fact it's so crazy you wouldn’t even believe me! It starts off like this. Me and my friend Taylor we on a trip in Alaska and we were visiting a zoo where the animals there look like animals that lived in the artic.

Me and Taylor walked in a cave it, was very cold and there was ice everywhere. Me and Taylor bumped into a ice wall and we looked at it and we saw there was a giant mammoth in the ice, The mammoth look like it needed help.I told Taylor to get my  my toiletry bag because my wireless hair dryer  in the car. she said “No”. I yelled “GO AND GET IT!!!” Taylor ran to get it and I laughed. Three hours later. Taylor came back with the toiletry bag when I asked “What took you so long?” Taylor said “I went to the cafe and got something to eat because she got hungry on the way”Then she said “I got something for you it’s your favorite mince and cheese pie its still hot how you like it” I grabbed the pie and ate it was so good. 

Then  I got my wireless hair dryer out of my toiletry bag and and started blow drying the ice. It was melting bit by bit. We knew this was going to take at least more than a day while the ice was melting. When the ice finished melting something horrible happened…………..
